    With Labor Day weekend signaling the end of summer, Colorado skiers and riders can find significant savings on ski passes at the holiday weekend sales. Through the end of August and into September, major retailers and winter sports groups host special sale events focused on winter gear and apparel, including ski passes. A handful of Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) resorts are at the sales with pass products available at discounted prices.

    CSCUSA resorts continue to add value to their pass products giving purchasers more bang for their buck, and more flexibility for their ski schedule. A little bit of research will yield skiers and riders a pass that meets their ski season needs from pricing to location to frequency. With a wide variety of pass products available this Labor Day, skiers and riders can find the pass that best suits their needs and at a discounted price.

    At the upcoming Front Range ski sales, many CSCUSA ski areas will be on hand promoting their resorts, giving out commemorative merchandise and selling season passes at even greater values to consumers.

    Below is a summary of the season pass products CSCUSA members will be offering at the ski sales.

    Arapahoe Basin
    Arapahoe Basin’s ski sale specials include fully transferable 4-Packs for $139. In addition, at Christy Sports’ Park Meadows location, the Elevation 4-Pass plus one half-off lift ticket for a friend will be on sale for $119.     Aspen/Snowmass
    Aspen/Snowmass will be offering four-day and seven-day Classic Passes. Classic Pass holders can ski or ride for a highly reduced rate and receive discounts on extension days and summer lift access. The Classic Pass cannot be combined with any other pass. Early purchase pricing for all Classic passes is valid through October 13, 2013. Classic Passes will only be available at select sales in Colorado beginning August 22, 2013.     Copper Mountain
    Copper’s legendary Four Pack ($149) guarantees four days of skiing and riding at Copper Mountain, with no blackout dates during the 2013/2014 season. Below are early season prices for the Copper Season Pass, with no blackout dates.

    • Adults (18-69): $369
    • Teens (13-17): $299
    • Children (6-12): $209
    • Seniors (65+): $249
    • Ages five & under free

    Copper Mountain’s Secret! Pass is very much like a backstage pass. With the Secret! Pass, you get a dedicated lift line at: American Eagle, American Flyer, Super Bee, Excelerator, Kokomo, High Point and Timberline Express. Secret! Pass holders enjoy a 15-minute head start on the American Eagle chairlift every morning, giving early-bird pass holders exclusive access to first tracks.

    At $99, the Close Parking season pass bolt-on includes convenient, close-in parking at the Chapel Lot, saving pass holders from walking in their boots from a more remote lot. New for the 2013-14 season, Copper has unveiled its Powder to the Pillow lodging special, where skiers and riders can pre-purchase 4 to 8 nights of lodging and redeem their rooms throughout the season.     Crested Butte
    This season, Crested Butte has already lowered its unlimited skiing Peak Pass to $599 for adults. However for this weekend only, they will be selling Peak Passes for $499. The popular Getaway Pass, which includes one night of lodging and two days of lift tickets for two people, will be on sale for $249, a $30 savings from the original price. Additional nights may be added to the Getaway Pass for just $150 each.

    The resort has also created a Labor Day sale only product, called the Adult 4-Pack. For $99, this pass gets the holder four lift tickets to use for themselves and share with friends and family during early or late ski season at the resort. Valid skiing dates are November 28 – December 18 and March 31 – April 6 for the Adult 4-Pack. These passes and products are only available at these selected events from August 30 – September 2.

    Crested Butte will also be selling their CB Card for $59 that includes the first day of skiing and 15% to 25% off tickets everyday thereafter.     Loveland
    Skiers and snowboarders visiting Loveland’s booth at the first shows of the season can take advantage of some special offers, including a $10 savings on 4-Pak purchases, great deals on new gear, and special offers only available through Labor Day Weekend. Loveland 4-Paks are unique as they are actual lift tickets that can be used by anyone on any day of the 2013-2014 season. With no restrictions and no blackouts, 4-Paks are only available through November 24, 2013. Also, at the sales, skiers and riders can play Loveland Lotto for their chance to win a Season Pass, lift tickets, lesson packages, $10 Beau Jo’s gift cards, limited edition Loveland head/neck scarfs and more.

    Shoppers who visit Powder Daze, August 30-September 2, can save 15 percent on every Child 3-Class Pass. Additionally, if they stop by the Loveland tent at SNIAGRAB, they can save $10 on the Sports Authority’s Junior Lease Program, a season-long rental package. Everyone that enrolls their child in this program can purchase a child (6-14) Season Pass for just $100, or $69 off the regular price.     Monarch
    Monarch will be at the sales this Labor Day offering 4-Packs for $125 at Powder Daze and 3-Packs for $99 at Sniagrab and Ski Rex.     Powderhorn
    Folks attending snowboard on the block will find Powderhorn selling all of its discounted pass products, including the Powderhorn P Card, their newest direct to lift product. This $49 pass product allows the first day of skiing or riding for free and each additional day for the rest of the season at a 20 percent discount off of the window lift ticket rate. Skiers and riders with P Cards will not need to visit the ticket window; instead, the credit/debit card used to purchase the pass is charged at the discounted rate when the P Card is scanned.     Silverton Mountain

    Ski Granby Ranch
    Skiers and riders attending Sniagrab can purchase fully transferable 4-Packs for $99, valid January 6 – April 6, 2014. In addition, Sniagrab attendees will enjoy the following special pricing on season passes:

    Sunlight will be giving out VIP cards, a punch card with five punches. Each day provides a savings over the price at the ticket window and the fifth punch gives the guest a free day at Sunlight. In addition, Sunlight will be selling lift ticket packages where each day offers progressively more savings over the price at the window.     The 2013/14 Winter Park/Mary Jane season passes feature unrestricted access to Winter Park’s cruisers and groomers as well as the challenging bump and tree skiing at Mary Jane. Prices for Winter Park season passes are below and guaranteed through September 3.

    Multi-mountain
