Happy Birthday, Flamingo Las Vegas

On Dec. 26, 1946, Flamingo Las Vegas opened its doors for the first time.

The Flamingo originally cost $6 million. The hotel, and Las Vegas, have undergone a few changes since 1946.

For many around the world, the iconic Flamingo symbolizes the essence of Las Vegas. A true classic.
