There’s been a lot of anticipation building around Cee Lo Green’s residency at Planet Hollywood, but we’ll have to wait a tad longer to see what the unpredictable performer’s got up his Liberace-inspired sleeves.
Because of the taping schedule of Green’s NBC show, “The Voice,” he’s moving back his “Cee Lo Green is Loberace” series of shows at Planet Hollywood until Feb. 27, 2013.

Green commented, “As we move into the third season of ‘The Voice,’ with my dedicated commitment to the filming schedule and love for my role on the show, I will need to postpone the opening of ‘Loberace’ to early 2013. To all my fans who have already purchased tickets, please accept my sincerest apology and I hope you can still join me in Vegas next year, so I can properly and finally introduce you to my brainchild, ‘Loberace’! Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
Ticket-holders for the postponed performances can get an exchange or refund at the original point of purchase. New show dates will go on sale Aug. 1, 2012.
Some Cee Lo Green trivia: He was recently featured on the cover of Fast Company magazine, being named to its list of “100 Most Creative People in Business.”
