Sin City’s newest chef, Gordon Ramsay, suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized for a brief time resulting from his participation in a charity soccer event in the U.K. for UNICEF on May 27, 2012.
The “Hell’s Kitchen” star, and creator of the new Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas, had a collision with a former pro soccer player, Teddy Sheringham, during a celebrity match.
See how this blog isn’t calling Teddy Sheringham a donkey? We’re mature like that.
Chef Ramsay, a frequent user of Twitter, posted this message a short time after the incident, “Thx 4 all the messages. Out of hospital after receiving amazing care from medics at ground & hospital. Bit sore but fine.”
Here’s hoping this blog’s favorite celebrity chef has a quick recovery. The event, by the way, raised more than $6.4 million for UNICEF.
