• D’Arcy McGee’s closes in Tempe

     

    D'Arcy McGee's Tempe AZD’Arcy McGee’s, the Irish restaurant and pub at Tempe Marketplace, has closed its doors. The 5,000-square-foot restaurant, which opened in May 2008, was part of a Canada-based chain of Irish pubs.

    No explanation for the closure was give, although you have to wonder if last November’s nearby opening of the Thirsty Lion, a huge British-themed restaurant and pub, contributed to its demise.
