One of the unheralded success stories of the past year is the Gilbert Farmers Market.
What got off to a shaky start about a year ago with just a handful of vendors has blossomed into one of the Valley’s top markets. Last week, nearly 50 vendors were present.
(It would be nice to see more farmers attend, but the same could be said for any Valley market.)
With its growing popularity – and with the nicer weather – the market is extending its hours to 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
The market takes place just west of the water tower in downtown Gilbert.
